production method | phthalic anhydride is condensed with chlorobenzene in the presence of anhydrous aluminum trichloride to produce 2-(p-chlorobenzoyl) benzoic acid, 2-(3-amino-4-chlorobenzoyl) benzoic acid is then nitrated and reduced with a mixed acid. The latter was diazotized with sodium nitrite and replaced with sulfur dioxide and chlorine chloride to obtain the product. |
